Electrolysis

Electrolysis is performed by inserting a very fine, flexible needle into the follicle (the pocket where the hair sits in your skin).

Your therapist then skilfully applies a tiny amount of current and destroys the lower part of the follicle, which stops any more hairs growing from that particular follicle. The destruction is carried out by heat (thermolysis).

Several hairs will be treated in each session and a commitment to regular appointments is essential to catch all the hairs in any one area due to the hair cycle.  Most areas of the face and body can be treated successfully  with electrolysis but for larger areas, or for dark hair on the face, we recommend IPL.

Your therapist will be able to advise you during your consultation appointment as to the system that will give the best and most economical result in your particular case.
