After 20 years and thousands of pounds worth of painful hair removal and bleaching, I had all but given up hope of being 'fuzz-free' on my chin and upper lip. Electrolysis seemed to take a lifetime and needed weekly appointments and laser was not only expensive but left small grey marks for about 10 days. I had resigned myself to waxing each weekend and catching the persistent hairs with electrolysis. To someone who does not suffer from hirsuitism this may not seem such a big deal but those who do will identify with the feeling that 'de-fuzzing' seems to take over your life.
 
When Julie introduced me to IPL I was sceptical at first but I can hand on heart say it is the most wonderful thing ever invented. IPL is completely painless (yes, even on the upper lip) and does not leave any red skin, scarring or rash. It is a quick process of cooling the face, applying protective gel and applying the light. About a week later you find your skin beautifully smooth and hair free as the hairs have just fallen out.
 
I have had 5 treatments and am now happy to allow someone to look straight at me without using my hand to cover offensive areas. It has given me back my confidence and I thank Julie for her recommendation.

I have been a client at the skin care centre now for over 10 years. Last year I decided to try the ipulse hair reduction treatment on my lower legs and was really pleased with the result.

I would be lying if I said there were no hairs left at all, but what is there is so sparse and fine that they are really difficult to spot. The other excellent side effect is that where I have not had to shave or wax for the past year my skin is so much softer. In fact I was so please I went on to have my underarms done.
